About me
Hi, I’m Sierra. Wife to Chris, mom to Jack and Arlo, pediatric physical therapist, women’s health physical therapist, and low pressure fitness enthusiast. I am passionate about raising kids with truth in their hearts and building a strong foundation in the earliest years.
I started this blog to bring hope to other moms raising a child with spina bifida and to share resources for optimal health and wellbeing. As a physical therapist myself, I am striving to gain the most insight on a holistic approach to the lifelong needs associated with spina bifida, and I want to help you do the same!

I started this blog because..
I was given the one of the most precious gifts in 2020.. motherhood! What an amazing opportunity to get to shape and mold the hearts of our little ones. Not only did I gain the gift of motherhood, but I also witnessed the miracle of my son, Jack, who was diagnosed with spina bifida when he was 18 weeks gestation. Our lives were changed significantly from that moment on. There have been many tears, much heartache, covered in an immense amount of joy and gratitude on this journey, and Jack makes this world more special in every way.
Our situation is also unique, in that I am a physical therapist, and my husband is a physician’s assistant. So together, we have felt so equipped to bring Jack into this world and we have committed to giving him the most epic life! As it can feel overwhelming to face medical decisions for our little babes, I wanted to also be a resource for other mamas who are raising a child with spina bifida. I hope you find this blog site helpful in that!

This is Jack
He is an almost 4-year-old who loves beatboxing, listening to worship music, skateboarding, singing, surfing, playing guitar, ukulele, harmonica, drums, and other instruments, and being around the people he loves!
